Milestone Reached: 1,000,000 kg of CO₂e Avoided!

On July 7, 2025, our photovoltaic system at our Linz site reached a significant milestone: Since the first system was commissioned in 2020, our on-site solar power generation has resulted in the calculated avoidance of more than 1,000 metric tons of CO₂e.

Solar Power from Our Own Rooftops
What began with our first PV system in 2020 has since been expanded in several stages. At the time the milestone was reached, 2,369 PV modules with a total capacity of 984 kWp were installed at our Linz site. They generate renewable electricity directly on the rooftops of our buildings.

Reducing Emissions Step by Step
Generating our own electricity is one part of our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at our production sites. In addition to further expanding our photovoltaic systems, we are working on measures including the electrification of production processes and more efficient energy use.
