ECO PPX

What remains is top performance. What improves is everything else. Since August 1, 2025, our sport brand evil eye has been using a revolutionary new material – ECO PPX – in the production of our high-performance sport eyewear. This next-generation performance polymer redefines the balance between functionality, durability, and environmental responsibility.
Developed for extreme use – whether on a bike, a trail, or in the mountains – ECO PPX delivers everything athletes expect from their gear: lightweight flexibility, exceptional resilience, and hypoallergenic properties. And it does all that with a significantly improved CO₂ footprint.

ECO PPX completely replaces the previously used high-tech material PPX, which was derived from fossil-based sources. ECO PPX is made entirely from biocircular raw materials – such as existing organic waste from agriculture and forestry, including tree bark and straw. Through an innovative process, these residues are transformed into a high-performance polymer that’s completely petroleum-free.

ECO PPX is a high-performance material with significantly reduced emissions. Whether on steep downhill rides or intense trail runs – sport eyewear made with ECO PPX delivers the same trusted reliability, lightness, and durability you know from evil eye.

Each pair of glasses is manufactured at our site in Linz, Austria, with the highest precision, short internal transport routes, and 100% renewable energy such as solar power. Resource-efficient processes and maximum product control ensure top-tier quality with minimal environmental impact.

With ECO PPX, we’re taking a bold step toward the future – proving that top performance and environmental consciousness are not mutually exclusive.

We don’t just make better eyewear. We make eyewear that matters.
